PHASE 1: APPLICATION & SCREENING PROCESS

The screening and application phase is essential to successful placement of the applicants. The better applicants are screened and the more detailed and accurate the information submitted the faster they will be placed. AAG recommends participants apply for the program 6 to 8 months before their desired start date.

Police Clearance must be provided for any location the participant has stayed for 365 days or longer (including home country). Those who have worked in the US will be required to provide an FBI clearance. For information on how to obtain the police and FBI checks from the USA, please click on below links: State police check & FBI check

Please note: AAG does not recommend Applicants apply for their police clearance until a firm date for the Australian border opening has been provided as the clearance normally is only valid for 12 months.

PHASE 2 – PRE-MATCHING PERIOD

Once the Applicant has been enrolled by AAG; he/she will have the opportunity to participate AAG’s online educational modules including interview coaching, cultural/destination awareness and other informative webinars to help prepare for their placement in Australia.

PHASE 3 - JOB MATCHING PROCESS

Once all documents have been submitted and there is a date of Australia’s border opening, AAG will commence the job matching process. At this stage, this will not occur until late 2020.
  • Based upon the participant preferences and flexibility gathered from the pre-screening process, AAG submits the applicant’s resume to an Employer for review.

  • Employer confirms interest in the candidate.

  • Skype Employer interview is organized for the participant.

  • If employer extends a job offer, AAG will invoice partner for program fee.

  • Job offer sent to participant.

  • Skills Audit undertaken for use in Training Plan

  • Training Plan is finalized.

  • Training Plan is signed by the Employer and Participant.

  • Training Agreement signed by AAG, employer and Trainee

  • AAG recommends the Participants starts looking for accommodation near their place of work.
